VIA pc-1 Initiative

The VIA pc-1 Initiative seeks to enable the next one billion people to get connected by developing sustainable solutions to bridging this divide, and empowering many more of the 'digital have-nots' to make more informed decisions about their lives. Through providing wider access to computing and communications technologies, the VIA pc-1 Initiative hopes to facilitate progress at the individual, local and national levels, by enhancing social, educational, healthcare, commercial and governmental infrastructures, in turn leading to social and economic improvement on a global scale.
