For InfoComm 2015, VIA teamed up with Shanghai designer Doris Zhang to conceptualize ways in which small business owners can leverage new technologies to enhance the shopping experience and boost competitiveness with larger players in their industry. Through the collaboration three concepts were chosen to be demoed during the show:
Personal Shopper
As visitors entered the booth, they were welcomed by a personal shopper who wirelessly delivered detailed information on the fashion and in-store specials through our VIA AirTalk beacon technology.
Personal Catwalk
To bring the fashion to life, an impressive 2×2 video wall, powered by a fanless VIA Video Wall Mini, featured catwalks of Doris’s latest collection as well as behind the scene footage of her design process and inspirations, helping to create a deeper bond between shopper and designer.
Personal Tailor
The Personal Tailor concept combined the best of offline and online shopping to create an entirely new customization service. Through an interactive kiosk which includes scanning technology to provide tailored measurements, customers can completely customize the clothes on offer to their exact size and taste before submitting the order directly to the designer and having it delivered to their home.
