An eye-catching mosaic VIA Video Wall lured visitors to our ESEC Japan 2015 booth to experience firsthand our dynamic Embedded Android Exhibition Zone. Featuring a wide range of live Android-based demos developed in cooperation with some of our partners (leveraging our industry leading Android support services and tools such as the VIA Smart ETK), the exhibition zone provided real-world examples of the powerful combination Android and ARM make for embedded applications.
Live Android-based demo highlights included:
- Smart Monitoring: NVR application with the VIA ALTA DS 2
- VIA Graphics Power: Dual encoding & decoding capabilities of VIA ARM SoCs
- Smart Parking: Entry and exit management with the VIA VAB-820
In addition to the Android-centric demos, our booth also featured a number of M2M solutions based on VIA ARM platforms as well as our full line-up of new ARM & x86 platforms.
